Dr. Dan Weberg, a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, is a leading expert in healthcare innovation, leadership, and human-centered design. With a Master's and PhD in Healthcare Innovation Leadership from Arizona State University, he is at the forefront of linking technology to healthcare practice. Dr. Weberg's leadership journey spans executive roles at Kaiser Permanente and faculty at Ohio State University, where he has driven change for over 70,000 nurses. He also helped launch the Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine. In addition to his leadership roles, he is the author of two impactful books, including "Leadership for Evidence-Based Innovation for Health Professions." Dr. Weberg is a sought-after speaker and consultant on healthcare innovation. Leading Nursing in a Blockbuster Moment Closing Keynote: Kimberly Baker, DNP, RN, CARN, NPD-BC Dr. Kim Baker spent her early career caring for patients with behavioral health needs before transitioning to leadership and professional development at UPMC. Dr. Baker is passionate about workplace violence mitigation, addressing moral distress and preventing moral injury, and empowering nurses to address difficult patient situations. This August, she will join Duquesne University School of Nursing where she will incorporate her work into the behavioral health curriculum as an Assistant Clinical Professor.
